Project Manager- Drylining

Location: Basingstoke

Salary: Around £70,000 can be negotiated with client

An established drylining and interiors contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale commercial projects for leading Tier 1 main contractors. Main reason for this appointment is the company is needing an individual to come in who is highly experienced with project management especially with previous experience within drylining. This role will be positioned to integrate and stabilise the site team and contracts team to work coherently.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll be working closely with Tier 1 contractors, managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining strong client relationships throughout each project. This role will entail multiple ongoing projects with Tier 1 contractors, so the workload will always be present, therefore an individual who can manage own workload is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple drylining and interiors projects from start to finish.
• Oversee programme, quality, cost and health & safety.
• Build and maintain relationships with Tier 1 contractors.
• Coordinate Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Work closely with Contracts and Site teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on programme and within budget.
• Resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the drylining and interiors sector.
• Experience delivering commercial projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of drylining, suspended ceilings, partitions and interior fit-out.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, FFS and First Aid certification preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• 5-20 years experience in Dryling/ Interiors.
• Managed high end commercial packages.
