Finance Officer
Our client provides, manufactures and distributes an extensive range of high-quality water management products and systems.
Due to company growth our client is looking to bring in an experienced Finance Officer to work full time in the office.
You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing journal entries, handling queries, maintaining accounts on financial systems, reconciling statements, processing payments, allocating cash, and preparing reports for management.

- Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 5:00 and Fridays 08:00 – 4:30pm (can be flexible with working hours).
- £25,000-£30,000 (depending on experience).

Finance Officer
Position Overview
- Receive and process high volume of supplier Invoices onto system from homes.
- Download supplier Invoices from their portals and process onto system.
- Process and raise journal entries onto Sage data base.
- Deal with supplier queries.
- Deal with home queries.
- Create new accounts and amendments including changes in bank details onto Sage data base.
- Adhoc reporting to Management.
- Produce and process payment runs fortnightly.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Responsible for the allocation and posting of cash.
- Raise remittance advices and send out to suppliers.
- Process and pay staff expenses.
- Credit Control.

Position Requirements
- Experience with Sage is essential.
- Someone who is adaptable and able to help where needed.
- Must have excellent telephone manner.
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
