Vehicle Technician (MOT Tester) – Bognor Regis

We’re looking for an experienced Master Technician / Vehicle Technician (MOT Tester) to join a busy, well-established independent automotive service centre in Bognor Regis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive workshop environment where quality workmanship, diagnostics, and attention to detail are valued and rewarded.

What’s on offer

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, plus 2 Saturdays per month
Holidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidays
Basic salary: £36,000 – £38,000 depending on experience + annual bonus
Annual pay rise
Immediate start available

Key responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
Complete MOT tests to required standards
Undertake vehicle inspections and health checks
Work to high industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
Complete job cards and maintain accurate workshop records
Support the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service

About you

Proven experience as a Master Technician / Vehicle Technician
Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Qualified MOT Tester
Master Technician qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
