Internal Sales Executive required!
Our client is a well-established mechanical engineering company supplying technical products and solutions to a diverse customer base.
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Internal Technical Sales Executive. The successful candidate will have experience in a technical engineering and/or mechanical environment and will be comfortable working with technical information to support customers in finding the right solution.
Package:
- Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
- Salary of £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)
- 20 days holiday + bank holiday

Internal Sales Executive – Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Manage and develop relationships with existing accounts
- Understand customer requirements through effective questioning and communication
- Recommend suitable technical/mechanical solutions based on client needs
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations
- Follow up quotations to progress opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and orders
- Liaise with internal engineering/production teams where required
- Support overall sales growth through proactive account management
Internal Sales Executive – Requirements:
- Experience in a technical, mechanical, or engineering-based environment
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, pumps, or mechanical systems is highly advantageous
- Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing technical support
- Experience producing quotations or working with CRM/sales systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs
- Confident in handling enquiries and following up sales opportunities
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
