Structural Engineer
Location: Cheltenham area
Salary: Up to £60,000 (Depending on experience)
Our client, a respected structural design consultancy with a strong and established client base, is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) with at least 5 years post-chartership experience.
Their current projects range from designing domestic extensions and new builds to multi-million-pound industrial units. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of UK Building Regulations and Design Codes.
Structural Engineer
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering technical work independently.
- Conducting site inspections and liaising directly with clients.
- Reviewing and approving the work of Junior Engineers and leading a team of designers.
- Utilizing relevant software such as AutoCAD, Tedds, Masterseries, etc.
- Performing structural surveys (e.g., subsidence and structural defect reports).
Applicants must hold a full driving licence and demonstrate strong written English and excellent verbal communication skills.
