Roofing Estimator – Roofing Services
Our client, a leading roofing contractor, specialises in multi-layer felt systems, single-ply membranes, wall & roof cladding, pitched roofing (slate & tile), and liquid systems, delivering high-quality solutions across various sectors.
They are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to support their growth. As the Roofing Estimator you will have previous roofing experience in order to prepare accurate estimates, manage tenders, and liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Experience across multiple roofing disciplines is preferred but not essential.

Roofing Estimator – Roofing Services
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for roofing and cladding projects
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate pricing
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQs) and ensure all costings are aligned with project specifications
- Assist in value engineering to provide cost-effective solutions
- Track project costs and assist in budget management
- Maintain relationships with key clients and industry contacts
Roofing Estimator – Roofing Services
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Roofing Estimator (or similar role within the industry)
- Knowledge of multi-layer felt systems, single-ply membranes, cladding, pitched roofing (slate & tile), and liquid systems (experience in all areas preferable but not essential)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and tendering platforms
- Full UK driving license (site visits may be required)
